Wagering Requirements Explained

Calculate wagering requirements correctly and account for contribution rates, maximum stakes, expiry, excluded games, and balance order.

The basic calculation

A wagering requirement states how much qualifying activity is needed before restricted funds become withdrawable. If a 20-unit bonus has a 30-times requirement applied to the bonus, the headline target is 600 units. Some offers apply the multiplier to deposit plus bonus, producing a different total.

Contribution changes progress

Eligible activity may count at 100%, a lower percentage, or not at all. At 10% contribution, 100 units of activity advances the requirement by only 10 units. Confirm the current game list and rate before calculating.

Stake and game restrictions

A maximum stake can apply while a bonus is active. Excluded games, restricted strategies, or feature purchases may void progress or associated winnings under the terms. Read these rules before each change of game.

Time and balance order

Expiry creates a deadline, and the order in which deposit and bonus balances are used affects exposure. Estimate the required activity against the permitted stake and available time without assuming any winnings.

A decision rule

Calculate the full target, contribution, maximum stake, expiry, and withdrawal cap before opting in. If completion would pressure you to exceed a personal limit, decline the offer. Never chase progress simply because activity is already partly complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 30x wagering mean?

It means qualifying activity totaling thirty times the defined base, which may be bonus only or deposit plus bonus.

Do all games count equally?

No. Contribution rates and exclusions can differ.

Why does maximum stake matter?

Exceeding it can breach promotion terms and affect bonus progress or winnings.

Can I guarantee completion by playing longer?

No. Outcomes remain uncertain, and more activity increases exposure.

When should I decline an offer?

Decline when terms are unclear or completion conflicts with your time or spending limits.
